Raj High Court orders ignored in Ring Road compensation
Jaipur: Nearly two hundred land owners from Abhaypura and Abhaypura in Diggi Malpura area, whose land were acquired for the construction of the Ring Road, are yet to receive compensation.
Despite their land being acquired for the Southern Ring Road project, these individuals have not been compensated. They could not surrender the land within the designated timeframe which is the reason for the delay in compensation disbursement.
However, their land was still taken for the project. Now, the remaining portions of their properties are being included in the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS), causing further complications. They are demanding that the compensation for the Ring Road land be settled at the earliest.
According to their claims, the HC has issued orders in the past, directing Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) to pay compensation in two dozen cases. Despite orders, there has been significant delay in disbursing the compensation.
