‘Promising’ Week!
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while launching a weeklong programme called ‘Sankalp Saptaah’ for the country’s aspirational blocks on Saturday said government hopes to see India as a developed nation by 2047. Modi said the Aspirational Blocks Programme will be based on success of Aspirational Districts Programme.
“Very few people get the chance to run a government for as long as I have. And I say from experience that it is not only that the budget brings change, if we ensure optimum utilisation of resources and convergence, then work can be done without any fresh funds coming in for the blocks,” Modi said.
