"No dispute in party, all MLAs united": JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy

Bengaluru: Janta Dal (Secular) leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said that there was no internal dispute in his party and all his MLAs are united.
Speaking to ANI on Sunday, Kumaraswamy said, "There's no internal dispute within the JD(S) party. All the 19 MLAs are united. Even if there's a personal issue, we will handle it. We know how to handle everything."
Meanwhile, JD(S) state president CM Ibrahim responded on Sunday to the speculation of the JDS-BJP alliance ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
"So far, JDS has not made any final decisions yet. We are waiting, and discussions are going on," he told ANI.
Meanwhile, referring to JD(S) as the "B-team" of the BJP, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah attacked Kumaraswamy, saying he doesn't have any ideology and would do anything for the sake of power."
"I had called JD(S) as BJP's B-team; it is getting proven now. JD(S) people used to get angry at me when I called them B-team. They have also named themselves secular -- Janata Dal (secular) -- but have joined hands with the communal party," said Siddaramaiah.
Speaking to reporters in Hubballi, the Congress leader said, "Deve Gowda (JDS supremo) used to say JD(S) will not have an alliance with any party, but now he has made G T Devegowda (JDS coordination committee chief and MLA) say that the party is joining hands with the BJP for its survival. It proves that they don't have any ideology and that for the sake of power, they will do anything."
Earlier this week, former Karnataka CM and BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa claimed that JD(S) had tied up with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and that the regional party will contest about four seats. "I am happy that Deve Gowdaji met our Prime Minister, and they have already finalized about four seats. I welcome them," Yediyurappa told reporters in Bengaluru.
