"No action was taken against Naxals under Bhupesh Baghel": Amit Shah in Chhattisgarh

Kanker: Days after 29 Naxalites were killed in an encounter, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said that "no action was taken against the Naxals" under the tenure of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the state.
Addressing an election rally in Chhattisgarh, Shah said, "PM Modi ended terrorism from the country and Naxals are on the verge of being finished. For five years this Mahadev App brand former CM Bhupesh Baghel was in government and for five years no action was taken against Naxals. You made Vishnu Deo Sai your Chief Minister. In four months more than 90 naxals have been killed. 123 have been arrested and another 250 have surrendered. Give another term to Modi and Naxalism will be completely wiped out from Chhattisgarh."
On Congress slamming Prime Minister Modi for his remarks at an election rally speech in Rajasthan's Banswara, Shah said that the opposition party got irritated after the Prime Minister questioned their manifesto adding that it was their own Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who mentioned that the first right on the resources is of the minorities.
"Congress party has just got irritated because PM Modi has said in their manifesto everyone's property will be surveyed. PM Modi said yesterday that why the survey has to be done. Today the entire Congress party is questioning PM Modi on this. I want to ask them whether their manifesto talks about surveys or not. Former PM Manmohan Singh had said that the first right on the resources is of the minorities, not of the tribals and Dalits. But we say first right on resources is of the poor, backward classes, Adivasis and Dalits," he said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi at an election rally in Rajasthan's Banswara said that the Congress party has plans to redistribute gold and hard-earned money to "illegal immigrants" and asked people whether this is acceptable to them or not.
"Congress manifesto says that it will calculate the gold owned by our mothers and sisters, collect information and then distribute to those whom former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said that Muslims have the first right to country's wealth. They will check how much gold our sisters own, how much silver tribal families have, and how much money government employees have there," the PM said in an election rally on Sunday.
"They (Congress) have said that gold owned by our sisters would be equally distributed. Does the government have the right to take your hard-earned property?" PM Modi added.
"When they (Congress) were in government, they said that Muslims have the first right over India's resources. So, they will distribute this wealth (property and gold) among those having more children, among illegal immigrants...this Urban Naxal thinking won't even spare your Mangalsutra," he said.
Attacking the Congress party further, the Prime Minister claimed that the "Urban Naxal" thinking wouldn't even spare the 'Mangalsutra'.
