‘Need to be vigilant in today’s time’
Jaipur: The Shabad Kirtan programme was organised at the BJP state office on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas on Thursday, which was attended by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. BJP State President Madan Rathore said that the Mughals inflicted severe torture on the Sahibzadas to force them to accept Islam, which was the pinnacle of cruelty on innocent children. Despite the atrocities, the Sahibzadas chose to sacrifice their lives rather than bow down.
He described the courageous Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh as an eternal source of inspiration for everyone. Rathore praised PM Narendra Modi for recognising their bravery and declaring the observance of Children’s Day on their martyrdom. He contrasted this with the earlier tradition of celebrating Children’s Day on Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary, calling this change a welcome step. Madan Rathore emphasized the need to remain vigilant in today’s time, to inform society about the terror inflicted by the Mughals, and to stay united and aware. He asserted that a united and organised society can deter any malicious intent directed at it.
