Minerals auction by January-end

Jaipur: The process of auctioning six major minerals of copper, magnesite, limestone, manganese and garnet will be started by the end of this month, a top official said.

Additional Chief Secretary –Mines Dr. Subodh Agarwal informed that the process of e-auctioning one copper and six limestone blocks has been started.

Agarwal chaired a virtual meeting of the department in which discussion about the auctions were held.

It was informed in the meeting that auction notices for two limestone blocks of Jhunjhunu and Nagaur have been issued and from January 24 to 28, these four blocks will be auctioned on the Government of India’s eportal.

Similarly, the process of auction of one copper has also been started and from 7 to 9 February, these blocks will be auctioned on the e-auction portal of Govt of India.
