JDA razes 3 illegal colonies in zone-13
Jaipur: Jaipur Development Authority has successfully dismantled three new illegal colonies in Zone13, spanning approximately 34.5 bighas of private agricultural land.
The demolition was carried out after reports emerged of unauthorized constructions, including roads and boundary walls, being built without JDA approval. The action follows similar efforts in Zone-11, where two illegal colonies were also dismantled. In a separate action, JDA also freed 7 bighas of govt land in Bagru from illegal encroachments, including tin sheds and wooden structures.
These efforts are part of JDA’s ongoing initiative, which has led to the dismantling of 70 illegal colonies and the clearance of 66.5 bighas of govt land since October 2024.
