Jalore ACB books Discom JE for demanding Rs 4,000 bribe

Jalore: Jalore ACB has registered a case of demanding bribe against the Junior Engineer of Discom Mohammad Firoz Akhtar.

Akhtar was demanding a bribe of Rs 4,000 for shifting the electricity connection located on the agricultural land, on which the ACB on verification confirmed the demand of bribe by the accused.

But the bribe amount could not be exchanged due to the knowledge of Junior Engineer, due to which the trap action failed.

ACB has registered a case against Akhtar on the basis of evidence, which will be investigated by ACB Inspector Rajendra Singh.
