"I will focus on education": JMM leader Hafizul Hassan on Jharkhand Cabinet Expansion
Ranchi: Ahead of the Jharkhand government oath taking, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and former Minister, Hafizul Hassan said he will focus on the education for the future. Hafizul Hassan won the Madhpur constituency in the Jharkhand assembly election Ganga Narayan Singh from BJP.
Speaking to ANI, Hassan said that he has worked for the betterment of Jharkhand with great vigour in the past and will continue to do so in future as well. He said, "Earlier I have worked with full responsibility as a minister of Jharkhand and in future also if I get any responsibility then I will fulfil it with full devotion and work for the development of Jharkhand..."
When asked whether he wanted to work in any particular field he said that the people of Madhpur voted on the basis of the "work he has done in the previous years" and that in the feature he will work on education:
He said. "I will focus on education as this will ensure that the future of Jharkhand will be educated and bright..."
Earlierr, JMM leader Mathura Prasad Mahato said that all of them are commited and that they wil ensure that every scheme reaches the pubic. Mahato said to ANI,"...We all are committed to ensuring that every scheme of the state government reaches the public. Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government has worked a lot for the development of Jharkhand"
Om Tuesday the JMM's General Secretary said that each and every division of Jharkhand will get its representation. He said, ""We will form the cabinet in a very cordial manner. Every division will get its representation. Women, youth, farmers, and labour leadership will be included in it."
Since taking the oath on November 28, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been the sole member of the state government's cabinet. However, this is expected to change on December 5, when other ministers from the JMM-led alliance will be sworn in.
The Hemant Soren-led JMM, as part of the INDIA bloc, achieved a decisive victory in the Jharkhand assembly elections, overcoming the BJP-led NDA's challenge. The INDIA bloc secured 56 seats, with JMM winning 34 and its coalition partners taking 22. In contrast, the NDA managed only 24 seats, with the BJP claiming 21 and the remaining coalition partners securing just 2.
