Ensure timely payment to dependents: CS Arya

Jaipur: Chief Secretary Niranjan Arya instructed the officials concerned to ensure timely payment of exgratia amount to the dependents of the Corona victim.

In a meeting held through VC with the collectors in the Secretariat, the officers were instructed that the families of manual scavengers, who died due to landing in the sewer chamber, should be paid immediately as per the decision of the Supreme Court.

Niranjan Arya also instructed the district collectors that the outstanding cases related to the forest rights letter being given under the Forest Rights Act should be disposed of at the earliest.

Also, make sure to register these matters on the MIS portal. Make a special strategy for the development of 860 villages of the four districts selected for special central assistance for tribal development.

While discussing the issues related to prevention of illegal mining, Arya said that it is necessary to stop illegal mining to increase the resources of the state government.
