ENSURE GROUND-LEVEL EXECUTION OF BUDGETARY PLANS: CM SHARMA
Jaipur/Bikaner: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the transformative changes since 2014, highlighting that Modi not only makes promises but delivers on them. Sharma emphasised key achievements, including the revised PKC-ERCP, the Yamuna water agreement, government jobs for youth, and the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. He noted that Rajasthan, under Modi’s leadership, is moving toward the vision of a developed India. Sharma encouraged legislators to ensure development in line with public aspirations and address local issues.
The Chief Minister announced the launch of Atal Gyan Kendras in every Gram Panchayat on December 25, 2023, to mark the birth centenary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. These centres will offer libraries, e-libraries, and public services like eMitra, accessible through Atal Preraks. He also promoted the 'Panch Gaurav' programme, emphasising the identification of one product, one tourism spot, and one sport for each district. Sharma stated that Rajasthan would host the 'Khelo India' games in 2026 and urged immediate preparations.
Sharma urged District Collectors to collaborate closely on implementing MOUs from the Rising Rajasthan Summit, focusing on energy independence by 2027. He emphasised accelerating the Jal Jeevan Mission and praised the bold decision to reorganise districts for enhanced governance & development.
