Does BS Yediyurappa see a CM in his son?

New Delhi: When former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa was removed from the post of Chief Minister, there was talk that his son BY Vijayendra would be made a minister in the state government, but that did not happen. Then there was a discussion that he would be given ticket in the Legislative Council elections to be held on seven seats, but he didn’t even get the ticket. Now Yediyurappa has said that a big responsibility will be given to his son. Therefore the question is, will his son get the big responsibility as his father has claimed? Keep in mind that the assembly elections are going to be held in the state next year and it is believed that Vijayendra can get a ticket then. But contesting the assembly elections is not a big responsibility. So the question natural arises: Is Yediyurappa seeing his son become the chief minister?

On the other hand, knowledgeable BJP leaders say that Basavaraj Bommai has been made the Chief Minister of the state as Yeddiurappa’s choice. So now there is no need to listen to him.

Either he can keep a chief minister of his choice or get his son made a minister. It is said that Yeddyurappa is sacrificing his son only to keep ‘alive’ CM ‘nominated’ bi him. But it won’t last long. Yeddiurappa will really take some big responsibility in the party for his son before the next assembly elections. If his son is not made a minister, then he would like to interfere more in the distribution of assembly tickets so that more and more people can get tickets. Yediyurappa is laying his cards by sensing the situation of a hung assembly and therefore, the assembly elections next year are going to be interesting.
