New Delhi: The Supreme Court Collegium on Thursday recommended appointment of CJ of J&K and Ladakh HC, Justice N Kotiswar Singh and Acting CJ of the Madras HC, Justice R Mahadevan as judges of Apex Court. In its resolution passed, Collegium said that Justice Singh’s appointment as a Judge of the SC will provide representation to NorthEast, and in particular he will be the first Judge from State of Manipur to be appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court.
