Chandna’s plan for Punjab polls: Camping in Gidderbaha constituency

Jaipur: Many leaders of Rajasthan are playing their responsibilities in the assembly elections of five states of the country, but Rajasthan’s Sports Minister Ashok Chandna is playing the role of an all-rounder.

Sometimes he is seen on the Polo Ground in the form of a player, sometimes in preparation for the assembly session and sometimes in the assembly elections of Punjab, campaigning for his political guru.

After playing the opening match in Jaipur polo season, State Sports Minister Ashok Chandna is now engaged in the electioneering in Punjab.

In fact, his political mentor and Punjab government’s cabinet minister, Amarinder Singh, is contesting from Gidderbaha.

Chandna has camped in Punjab with his team to make Singh victorious and for the purpose he is scanning from voter list to booth management.

He is campaigning in Gidderbaha assembly constituency, while simultaneously seeking the support of Congress in the street meetings late in the evening.

After campaigning for the second time in Punjab, Chandna will return to Jaipur on Saturday, and start preparing for the assembly session.

CM Gehlot has given important responsibility of the DIPR department along with his sports and youth affairs to him.
