Jaipur: Preparations for the establishment of a Center of Excellence for Ceramics in Rajasthan have reached the final stages. This center will promote the ceramic industry in the state by supporting the exploration, mining, processing and production of ceramic products. It will also foster world-class research, provide guidance for the establishment of ceramic-based industries, share technological advancements, and improve the manufacturing techniques for ceramics.

A virtual meeting was held today by T. Ravikanth, Principal Secretary of the Mining and Petroleum Department, to discuss the Center of Excellence for Ceramics. The meeting brought together renowned academicians, technical experts, startups along with the stakeholders and senior officials from the department.
