Central Govt extends IAS Anjaneya Singh’s deputation in UP
Lucknow: The Central Government has extended the inter-state deputation period of Moradabad Divisional Commissioner IAS Anjaneya Kumar Singh for one more year. The Central Government has taken this decision on the recommendation of the UP Govt.
Anjaneya Kumar Singh, a 2005 batch IAS officer of Sikkim cadre, came to Uttar Pradesh on inter-state deputation on February 16, 2015. After completing the deputation period of 8 years, he had to be relieved from the parent cadre on Feb 14, 2023. Singh’s interdistrict deputation ended on Feb 14, 2023, after which he handed over his charge to the District Magistrate of Moradabad. Meanwhile, lobbying was going on in the government on behalf of the state to increase the deputation tenure and finally the govt extended the deputation for 1 year.
