CBEO clerk held for `5.60L embezzlement

Raisinghnagar: A UDC has been arrested for embezzlement of lakhs of rupees in the education department after a special audit team from Jaipur investigated in Raisinghnagar.

The police arrested Sohan Singh, UDC of Raisinghnagar CBEO office on charges of embezzlement of lakhs of rupees.

Singh had transferred Rs 5 lakh 60 thousand 378 to the account of his family members while embezzling the amount to be released in various items.

In order to avoid arrest, the accused UDC had deposited the amount of embezzlement in the education department’s government account 1 month ago. In the investigation of the special audit team, many big faces of the office will be exposed.
