"Cast my vote for Narendra Modi, for Viksit Bharat, for strong India": Suvendu Adhikari

Nandigram: Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari cast his vote for the Lok Sabha elections at a polling station in West Bengal's Nandigram on Saturday.
Voting for the sixth phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections is underway across 58 parliamentary constituencies spread over six states and two Union Territories (UTs) amid tight security and arrangements.
"Those who are voting in the sixth phase are all equal according to the Indian Constitution. Everyone has to queue up before the polling booth and cast his vote. I have cast my vote today for Narendra Modi, for Viksit Bharat, for a strong India," Adhikari said speaking to reporters after casting his vote.
Speaking highly of Bharatiya Janata Party's Tamluk candidate, judge turned politician Justice Abhijit Ganguly, Adhikari said, "I have cast my vote for Justice Abhijit Ganguly, the one who has been selected as the candidate from here by Narendra Modi and whose action led to the imprisonment of several thieves."
Exuding confidence in Justice Abhijit Ganguly for carrying out large-scale development in Tamluk, the senior BJP leader said, "I believe that Narendra Modi will be the Prime Minister for the third time winning more than 400 seats and Justice Ganguly will win from here. I have started some development work here but large-scale development work is pending."
Apart from Medinipur, voting is underway at Tamluk, Kanthi, Ghatal, Jhargram, Purulia, Bankura and Bishnupur constituencies in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections in the state on Saturday.
West Bengal recorded a high voter turnout at 36.88 per cent till 11 am on Saturday in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections, as per the data provided by the Election Commission.
Voting for the sixth phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections is underway across 58 parliamentary constituencies spread over six states and two Union Territories (UTs) amid tight security and arrangements.
The sixth phase of Lok Sabha polls includes eight seats in Bihar, all 10 seats in Haryana, one seat in Jammu and Kashmir, four in Jharkhand, all seven seats in Delhi, six in Odisha, 14 in Uttar Pradesh, and eight in West Bengal. A total of 889 candidates are in the fray.
