BJP leaders back demand to defer RAS Mains exam

Jaipur: BJP MP Dr Kirodi Lal Meena and Deputy Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Rajendra Singh Rathore have lent their support to the agitating RAS aspirants and backed their demand for postponement of the entrance exam.

The two leaders went to the venue in New City where the aspirants have been staging a sit-in for the last two days on Saturday and talked to the protestors.

The BJP veterans described their demand as justified because the candidates are left with much less time for preparation as the major changes have occured in the syllabus.

Meanwhile, after the condition of three of the candidates, who are on hunger strike, worsened, they have been shifted to the SMS Hospital.
