Aryan Khan is all set for his upcoming web series debut as a writer; casting begins

Mumbai (Maharashtra): One of the most popular star kids, Aryan Khan, the older son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is all set to make his writing debut for a web series. Aryan is more drawn to the artistic side of writing than performing, as King Khan has mentioned. “He's been writing, directing, and learning stuff for four years. It’s one of the highest levels of studies at the University of Southern California to become a film-maker”, said SRK. The star kid has been quietly working on a number of projects that have the potential to be expanded into feature films and web series, as it was previously exclusively reported.

According to a recent story in the ETimes, Aryan's web series would begin production by the end of the year. "Multiple actors have been giving auditions for the web series and going by the rate at which the work has started, the show may go on the floor by the end of the year," said the report. The focus of the show will be on the film industry and Bilal Siddiqui, who also co-wrote the Netflix series ‘Bard Of Blood’ with Emraan Hashmi in the lead and will be focused on the film industry.

Aryan recently did a test shot for the web series at a Mumbai studio earlier this year. “Of all the ideas in development, the two in the forefront is a web series for Amazon Prime and a feature film to be bankrolled by Red Chillies hard fan with some elements of thrill, however, the details of feature films are not known yet. If everything proceeds at the right pace, there’s a strong possibility of the show being greenlit by the platform this year itself,” said the source. Prit Kamani, who was most recently seen in Shahid Kapoor's ‘Jersey’, is rumoured to be a part of this show.

Aryan wanted to gather everyone and explain the project before it was put on the floors. The young star is very passionate about this as-yet-untitled show, and pre-production work has already started, the insider added. The actual shooting dates will soon be decided.
