Anushka Shetty puts on weight for her new comeback film with Naveen Polishetty

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Anushka Shetty is finally making a comeback after a long wait with Naveen Polishetty in Mahesh P’s untitled film. However, she has kept her looks under wrap and there have been no leaked photos of the actress from the sets of the upcoming film. She is currently in Hyderabad shooting for the film which is produced under UV Creations. Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, the actress has put on weight for the film and hence has refused to step out to avoid leaking her film look.

A source close to the development revealed, “Anushka has gained weight again for her role in the film. Interesting, she looks every bit confident and is leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of her character. The makers have tightened the security on the sets and have made sure no photo of Anushka gets leaked online.”

Anushka had previously gained weight for her 2015 film ‘Size Zero’ as well. She put on 20 kgs for her role which saw her portraying a plus-sized woman who starts a campaign to raise awareness about being fit rather than slim.

Actresses diet and exercise a lot in order to maintain their slim figures. The size zero that shows the actresses flaunting a flat midriff also has hazardous effects on the health of women. But, Anushka is shattering this obsessive need to be slim in this world of glamour, not once, but twice.
