‘Advisor’ Arya to formally dive in the political waters in 2023-24?

Jaipur: Now that former CS Niranjan Arya has retired & has been accorded the coveted position of Advisor to CM, there are murmurs in the political arena and to some extent in bureaucratic world as well, that Arya may head the PL Poonia way! Didn’t get it? Well, let us simplify.

PL Poonia was an IAS officer, who retired as Chief Secretary of UP and immediately after his retirement, he jumped into active politics.\

There was a time, when Poonia was a close confidante of former UP CM & BSP Supremo Mayawati, but he chose to enter Congress and is today an established national leader of the grandold- party.

Similarly, there are speculations that Arya will also tread the same path & could context 2023 Assembly polls or 2024 LS polls.

It is being said that for assembly polls, he may be fielded either from Sojat or Merta City & for LS polls, he may be fielded either from Bharatpur or Bikaner.
