ACB raids Kota DC in disproportionate assets case, Govt puts him on APO

Jaipur: The ACB carried out searches on Wednesday at 4 locations in Rajasthan in a disproportionate assets case against Kota Divisional Commissioner (DC) Rajendra Vijay. The IAS officer was removed from post of Kota DC after the ACB raids on Wednesday. The government has put him on APO. Additional charge of the post was given to Kota Collector Ravindra Goswami. DG ACB Dr Ravi Prakash Mehrada said documents of 13 commercial and residential plots, including a luxury house on Tonk Road, Zudio showroom, GT Galleria, C Scheme, were found. They also found Rs 2.22L cash, 335 grams of gold ornaments, 11.8 kg silver jewellery, and 3 4-wheelers, besides life insurance policy docs, 16 bank accounts, and a bank locker that is yet to be searched.
