Special Heritage walk for tourists
Jaipur: On the occasion of World Heritage Day, a heritage walk was organized in Jaipur on Thursday in which tourists were told about the ancient and rich heritage of the city.
Tourists listened to CEO Vinod Joshi, the pioneer of Rajasthan’s heritage, art and culture in rapt attention as he told them about the history of Jaipur. . The walk, which started from the Heritage Path of New Gate, took three hours and concluded in front of Rajasthan School of Arts.
Joshi introduced the delegation to the heritage of Pink City. Tourists listened to the stories of forging of bronze utensils, settlement of film colony and other interesting anecdotes as they clicked pictures. People curiously listened to how arrangements were made for Prince Charles during his stay in Jaipur.
Sanjay Kaushik said only a select group of people were invited for the walk. Those present in the walk included writer Amit Sharma, Gausar Startup founder Sanjay Chhabra, Dancing Peacock’s Naveen Tripathi, tourism related people Nitin Mathur, Reena Chaturvedi, Rakshat Huja, Pushpendra Bhargava and others.
