Collector Soni starts campaign to cover open borewells in Jaipur

Kotputli: Borewell accidents in the state have claimed the lives of many children. After the latest incident, Jaipur District collector Jitendra Soni started a campaign to get the open borewells closed in the entire Jaipur district and has got more than 300 open borewells closed in a single day and the work is going on at war footing.

Open borewells in Sanganer, Kalwad, Amer, Tunga, Jamwa Ramgarh, Bassi, Chaksu, Andhi, Renwal, Kotakda, Sambhar, Shahpura, Chaumu, Jalam, Jobner, Rampur, Dudu, Fagi, Maujmabad, Madhopura, etc. have been covered with iron plates.

For the last few days, the administration and rescue team are working to rescue Chetna, who had fallen in a borewell in Kotputli.
