9 senior IPS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath transferred nine IPS officers on Saturday. IPS officer RK Swarnakumar has been made the new Police Commissioner of Kanpur City Police Commissionerate. Along with this, IPS officer Mohit Aggarwal has been made the Additional Director General of Police of UP ATS.

IPS officer BP Jogdand has been made Additional Director General of Police, Women and Child Protection Organization (1090). BP Jogdand was posted as Kanpur Police Commissioner. IPS officer Rajeev Krishna, Additional Director General of Police, Agra Zone, has been given the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police, Vigilance Establishment, UP, Lucknow.

IPS officer Anupam Kulshrestha has been appointed as ADG of Agra Zone. Kulshrestha was holding the additional charge of 1090 along with Additional Director General of Police Traffic and Road Safety.

IPS officer RK Swarnakumar, the new Police Commissioner of Kanpur Police Commissionerate) was holding the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police, UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

IPS officer Naveen Arora, who was Additional Director General of Police of ATS, has been made Additional Director General of Technical Services in place of Mohit Aggarwal.

IPS officer BD Poulsen has been made Additional Director General of Police Traffic and Road Safety. IPS officer Sanjeev Gupta has been made Secretary Home UP. IPS officer LR Kumar has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police, Law and Order.
