3 accused of deadly attack on RSS workers held in Jpr

Jaipur: The Jaipur police have arrested three accused for deadly attack on RSS workers on Friday. The accused include Naseeb Singh Chaudhary, his wife Nirmala and their son Bhishma. Naseeb Singh Chaudhary is a resident of Jhajjar, Haryana. The incident occurred in the Karni Vihar police station area on Thursday night. The injured RSS volunteers who were attacked on Thursday during a religious event in Karni Vihar area are being treated at SMS Hospital. According to doctors, 10 people were injured. Six of them were being treated at the hospital while three who sustained severe injuries would undergo surgery.

Angry traders and locals gathered at the crime scene to protest the stabbing of the RSS workers. They expressed displeasure over the disruption of religious activities by anti-social elements.

The Dhawas area of Karni Vihar police station turned into a police cantonment. Colony residents and RSS workers held a meeting on the temple premises where the event was conducted. It was attended by MLA Gopal Sharma, former mayor Sheel Dhabhai, councillor Madan Sharma, former divisional president Ratan Singh and other officials.

MLA Balmukund Acharya visited the hospital to inquire about the well-being of the injured. Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar condemned the attack and said that by God’s grace none have suffered any major injury. Former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas also visited the hospital and said it was not a Hindu-Muslim issue. “A criminal has no caste or religion and must not be spared,” he said.
