2 days after bail, gangster shot dead outside court

Nagaur: A glaring incident of gang war once again came to fore on Monday when a noted criminal was shot dead in broad daylight in front of police in Nagaur. Gangster Sandeep Sethi was shot dead by unidentified people in full view of the public on Monday afternoon while he was returning back after appearing before a court here. He came out on bail 2 days ago. He succumbed to injuries on the spot. Besides Sandeep, 2 of his bodyguards and alawyer were also injured in the firing. Sandeep Sethi, a supari killer and presently lodged in Nagaur jail, was about to be produced before the court when some unidentified armed men came in a black Scorpio car and fired nine gunshots on Sandeep. Shooters reportedly came from Haryana. After the incident, barricading & each vehicle checked. Meanwhile, following directions of DGP ML Lathar, ADG (ATS-SOG) Ashok Rathore left for Nagaur. Acting ADG (Law and Order) VK Singh said accused are being searched on basis of appearance. BJP state president Satish Poonia said that the state has become the first choice of criminals.
