Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai Fame Shivangi Joshi to play a journalist in Ekta Kapoor's next With Kushal Tandon

Well it was earlier reported that Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai fame Shivangi Joshi wS approached for Ekta Kapoor's new show. And now, a latest report in a leading portal confirms that Shivangi Joshi has been finalised to play the lead in the show.

The actress played the role of Naira and was loved fro her performance. After she quit YRKKH, Joshi did Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and Balika Vadhu 2.

According to the Times Of India report, Shivangi will play a journalist in Ekta's show. "Shivangi is now confirmed and on board for the show. She will play the female lead, a journalist. Kushal’s and Shivangi’s characters will be shown at loggerheads in the beginning, only to fall in love eventually. A mock shoot is expected to take place in a couple of days and the shoot will commence in 10 days," a source said.

This daily soap will also be the return for Kushal Tandon to the TV after six years since Beyhadh. He was seen on the popular shows Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Nach Baliye 5, Bigg Boss 7, and Khatron Ke Khiladi 5. 

Spilling the beans about Kushal's character, the source earlier said, "It’s a love story and Kushal is perfect for the part. The character will have a lot of shades. The production house is currently looking out for the female protagonist and the rest of the casting is underway, too. The show is expected to go on floors by the mid of next month."
