Vivek Agnihotri mercilessly trolled for stating that people get married to get wedding photos and videos
Vivek Agnihotri, a filmmaker, is well-recognized for expressing his views on social media. He made fun of folks who get destination weddings only to brag in his most recent tweet. He said that many individuals today are being persuaded and getting married merely to have wedding photographs and videos to post online. Vivek described an event that occurred at a destination wedding he recently attended when the bride passed out when she found out that the wedding photographer would be late.
On Saturday, he tweeted, “People are getting married just to get wedding photos, videos and to get ‘destination wedding’ tag for show off”—a wedding planner told me. It’s true. I was in a destination wedding and someone said that the wedding photographer is going to be late and the bride fainted.” His post received mixed reactions from netizens. While some agreed with him, a few others trolled Vivek.

One user commented, “That’s a stupid exaggerated wedding photographer’s view. Yes, people are more into ‘show off’ but saying they are getting married just to show off is laughable.” Another slammed the filmmaker saying, “Hope your friends see this tweet and realize that you are tweeting and gossiping after attending their celebratory functions.” One of the angry users said, “Shame on you for cheap thinking.”
In the meantime, Vivek Agnihotri recently made news after he sent Mamata Banerjee with a legal notice for her "highly defamatory" remarks against his film "The Kashmir Files." Additionally, he wanted an unequivocal apology from the CM and threatened to take additional legal action against her for damaging their name in public if she did not comply.
