Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor got trained by Zoya Akhtar on how to handle the nepotism debate
Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi, and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, are all preparing to enter the world of show business this year. They are now preparing for the premiere of The Archies, their feature picture debut. In addition to Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda playing significant parts, Zoya Akhtar is the film's director. The teaser, which was just unveiled at an event in Brazil, really impressed online users. The Archies' trip through time will be eagerly anticipated by the crowd. Recently, in the midst of the current nepotism discussion, Zoya talked about the kids and shared how she has raised them.
Every time a famous child prepares for their debut, the nepotism argument comes up. People have been debating Suhana, Khushi, and Agastya's privileges nonstop since it was revealed that they will be introduced in movies. Recently, Zoya was questioned by Film Companion about the sort of instruction she provided to The Archies actors. Did she prepare them in light of the current nepotism controversy? Zoya said, "See at the end of the day, we all grow up. We all grow up wanting to follow our dreams. When you grow up in a house with parents you admire, you just end up doing things they do. It is as simple as that. Who is anyone to say, ‘You can’t do this, you can’t do that.'"
When questioned further about how she trained them to handle criticism when they enter public spaces, Zoya added, "You don’t. You have to roll with the punches. You have to go out there, you have to keep your head down and work hard. At the end of the day, if you do your job well, you will be unstoppable. Do your job, that’s it, everything else… I just bubble myself, I focus on what I have to do, and if I do it well or honestly, it will find its audience. You can’t control anything but yourself. You can’t control what people say, think, if they like you or they don’t. You can just control what you put out. So that’s what you should do– focus, be a Jedi."
Even Zoya admitted during the interview that the youngsters had to start everything over from scratch. She said that she forced them to watch musicals from the 1960s and read comic books. The Archies will soon be available on Netflix. The release date has not yet been declared by the creators.
