Shruti Choudhary stuns in Bandhani sarees during the shoot of COLORS’ ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’
COLORS’ popular show ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’ continues to excite audiences with its storyline of Veer (Shagun Pandey), and Bulbul (Shruti Choudhary), whose lives take a new turn after an unexpected marriage. Viewers are drawn into the journey of these two individuals who are poles apart opposites to each other and have married, not knowing a secret that can have serious consequences. While the plot is thickening, the audiences are stunned by Shruti sporting different kinds of traditional Rajasthani bandhani sarees. The talented actor remarks that one of the highlights of being on the show is getting to wear her favourite attire.
Shruti Choudhary, playing the role of Bulbul in COLORS' 'Mera Balam Thanedaar' shares, "I am thrilled that people are showering support and love on the show. I’m grateful for all the recognition I’ve got as Bulbul and hope that I can be worthy of all the appreciation that’s coming my way. This is my first show as a lead and among the things that I’ve learnt, one is draping sarees with the help of my reel mother Aastha Choudhary. I’ve worn so many different traditional bandhani sarees by now. Nothing can beat the elegance of a saree and I feel closer to my roots when I wear it.”
In the current storyline, Bulbul and Veer decide to take six months to understand each other and strengthen their relationship. However, Bulbul is still concerned that the secret of her being a minor will be revealed to Veer. How will this revelation change their lives?
Stay tuned to ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’ every Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm only on COLORS.
