Ram Yashvardhan talks about bringing 'Laxmi Narayan' to life with COLORS’ 4D Temple in Ayodhya and Delhi

India embraces a new era of devotion with the launch of COLORS' revolutionary 4D engagement temple of 'Laxmi Narayan' in Ayodhya and Delhi. This 12ft tall architectural marvel is the first-ever interactive temple to offer a divine experience to devotees. As actor Ram Yashvardhan gears up to reprise the role of “Shiv ji” in COLORS upcoming magnum opus, ‘Laxmi Narayan,’ he talks about expanding mytho universe. With a fervent belief that "Har Ghar Mein Hain Laxmi Narayan," this mythological saga promises viewers the key to unlocking the trove of Sukh, Saamarthya, and Santoolan and inspires them to welcome abundance into their house while providing valuable life lessons for partners on compatibility, trust, mutual respect, and facing challenges together. ‘Laxmi Narayan’ premieres today, on April 22nd and will air every Monday to Friday at 10 pm only on COLORS.

1.    How does it feel to be a part of a part of a parallel universe of a mythological show that is expanding its horizon and showing stories from various perspectives?

Playing the role of Shiv has been an incredible journey in itself and I am more than happy to be playing Shiv in Laxmi Narayan also. I say it for all my co-stars when I say, Shakti (Subha), Naarad (Puneet) and Indra (Tarun) are equally excited to expand into a different universe of love. Laxmi and Narayan are both known to be the epitome of Sukh, Saamarthya, and Santulan and I really hope the audience will shower they love for the ‘Laxmi Narayan’ as much as they have done for ‘Shiv Shakti’. 

2.    What are your thoughts about such an immersive and innovative effort to bring the divine couple of Laxmi and Narayan closer to the masses through a 4D temple set-up in cities like Ayodhya and Delhi?
This is India's first 4D interactive ‘Laxmi Narayan’ temple, which seamlessly blends ancient heritage, Indian culture and Mythology with cutting-edge technology to give a wonderful experience to Bhakts. It is truly magical how people are experiencing the positivity from this temple. When I visited this 4D temple, I personally saw people parying, crying and seeking blessings from the lord. It was a surreal experice to witness different emotions of Bhakts at this temple. 

3.    In your opinion, what sets 'Laxmi Narayan' apart from other mythological shows or adaptations? How does the show aim to present the story of these deities?

The idea is to get people closer to the divine couple who nurture the universe. You have seen the story from Shiv Shakti’s perspective and watching it from Laxmi and Narayan’s view is a different feeling. The stories of Laxmi and Narayan will inspire the viewers to bring Sukh, Saamarthya and Santulan in their lives.

4.    What are your thoughts on the increasing popularity of mythology-based shows and the potential for exploring other lesser-known tales or characters from the vast repertoire of Indian mythology?

The increasing popularity of mythology-based shows is proof of our society's enduring fascination with these ancient tales and the wisdom they impart. Indian mythology is a vast ocean of stories, each with its unique characters, themes, and lessons. While shows like 'Laxmi Narayan' explore well-known narratives, there is immense potential in showcasing lesser-known tales and characters, giving audiences a deeper appreciation for the richness and diversity of our cultural heritage.

5.    What message would you like to share with the viewers of Shiv Shakti and soon-to-be viewers of Laxmi Narayan?
