Nushrratt Bharuchha reacts to the family's reaction to her bold outfit in her new song

By giving some excellent performances, actor Nushrratt Bharuchha has been able to carve out a lucrative place for herself in the film business. The actress first achieved notoriety with Pyaar Ka Punchnama by Luv Ranjan and afterwards with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The public adored Nushratt's performance in the song "Chhote Chhote Peg" from the movie because of her sexy dances. But did you know that her family was horrified by her daring attire in the upbeat track and enquired as to if she was wearing a bra?

The Dream Girl actress revealed this startling information regarding her family's reaction to her song-related attire in an old interview. Nushrratt mentioned on her last visit on RJ Siddharth Kannan's show that her father, mother, and grandmother were a little 'taken aback' by her daring outfit. The actress had stated, “They actually looked at me and asked me, ‘Is that a bra that you are wearing?’ I paused for two seconds and I said, ‘It’s a bralette. There’s a term for it, it’s a styling term. People wear it.”

Additionally, the celebrity acknowledged that although her family was a little taken aback, they realised that certain things are done for a particular theme for a purpose. Nushrratt continued by pointing out that since she has not in any way failed, it was simple for her family to move on. “Ofcourse, they were a little taken aback, like, ‘Yeh kya hai?’ It worked for the song, it looked nice, everybody spoke about it well, it became a hit. I think what happened was, they kind of understood there is a reason why certain things are done for a certain theme. It doesn’t take away from who I am. I have not fallen in any way so it was easy for them to get over it,” the actress further explained.

Nushrratt Bharuchha, who is 38 today, most recently appeared as Bellamkonda Sreenivas' love interest in the action-thriller "Chatrapathi" directed by V.V. Vinayak. The movie was released on May 12, 2023, but the critics weren't impressed. The actress is well known for her performances in films like Ram Setu, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Dream Girl, Chhorii, Janhit Mein Jaari, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
