Maha Shivratri Ka Maha Parv on COLORS’ ‘Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav’

COLORS’ ‘Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav’ continues to regale the audiences with the universe’s first love story between Lord Shiv and Goddess Parvati. The upcoming episode promises to be nothing short of spectacular and the Maha Shivratri special week is poised to shed light on the origins of the sacred festival. The narrative unfolds with Lord Shiv's grand plan to bring Ganga down to Earth on the auspicious night of Shivratri. However, Parvati, his eternal consort, finds herself grappling with conflicting emotions. She questions the necessity for Ganga to reside within Shiv's locks and accuses him of showing partiality towards the river over her. In response to Parvati's concerns, Shiv makes a solemn vow — he will relinquish Ganga from his matted hair if people begin associating her name solely with him.

As the celestial waters of Ganga descend upon Earth, they bring with them the promise of salvation for Bhagirath's ancestors. The deities themselves partake in the sanctifying waters, offering their devotion to Lord Shiv. Amidst the divine splendour, Shiv and Parvati celebrate their timeless union, marking the anniversary of their marriage.
