I watched a lot of documentaries, murder mysteries, and thrillers: Vikram Sakhalkar on his movie Qaatil Haseena

Vikram Sakhalkar will be seen in ALTT’s Qaatil Haseena, where he plays the role of Rohit, a small town boy with big dreams. The movie is all about how one night changes everything for him. To prepare for his character, the actor watched a lot of documentaries and murder mysteries.
 
He said, “For the preparation of this character, I watched a lot of documentaries, murder mysteries, and thrillers. And it helped me get the role right.”
 
And Vikram says he is completely opposite in his on-screen role. “The character Rohit and myself are poles apart. He's a complete extrovert, and I'm a complete introvert in real life. But I guess that's the beauty of our job that we get to portray different characters and different lives, and I hope I have done justice to that,” he said.
 
Though he confessed that he did not need any special preparation for the film, it has taught him a great deal, and he added, “It will surely help me in my future.”
 
He also revealed that he was immediately attracted to the character when he heard about it. “This character Rohit has a beautiful graph, I get to play action, romance, and comedy. Everything's got a lot of shades to it, and I'm very excited about it.”
 
What about the bold scenes? “The show does have a few bold scenes, and I was very comfortable doing them. My co-actor Sakshi and the entire team were very professional about it,” he said.
 
For Vikram, the only challenge was that the movie was shot for a very short duration. “I think that was the most challenging part, but we had a great team, and eventually it all fell into place,” he said.
 
And he also accepted that shooting for the action and the bold scenes was a little challenging for him. He added, “But as we all know, Mr. Ramsay is a master, and he made it very simple for all of us.”
 
Vikram is all praise for Ekta Kapoor and ALTT and said, “She is the pioneer in this space, and I always wanted to work with her, and by God's grace, I finally got an opportunity. I was very excited and looked forward to the audience's response. Working with ALTT was an absolute dream come true. They really take very good care of all the actors, and I hope everything will happen again very soon,” he ended.
