Fans need another sequel after cast of YJHD reunite
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, an animated film by Ayan Mukerji, celebrated its tenth anniversary on May 31. Leading actors Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin, and Aditya Roy Kapur played the parts in the movie, which focused on friendship and love. The movie succeeded to connect with the audience in the perfect way, and even now, people still rave about it. The cast of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani reunited for a special event, and the behind-the-scenes photos have its fans very happy.
Ayan previously uploaded inside photos from their reunion via Instagram. The first image shows Kalki, Aditya, Deepika, and Ranbir. The stars appear ecstatic and joyful as they reconnect for this special event. Ranbir and Deepika can be spotted matching in black. The second image features the whole cast of the movie, including Siddharth Roy Kapur, Kunal Roy Kapur, Manish Malhotra, Ayan, Pritam, and Karan Johar. The principal actors appeared in the previous film as well. They pose for the camera while flashing their million-dollar smiles. Along with the pictures, Ayan wrote, "last night."
His photographs quickly went viral on social media when he posted them. After seeing the actors reunited after a long period, fans felt sentimental. A fan wrote, "Kya jaldi jaldi bade ho gaye sab." Another fan wrote, "Favourite film with the best cast ever. Ayan we want another YJHD." Others were observed posting emoticons in the comments area with teary eyes, red hearts, and fire.
Ayan thanked his followers for their support of his movie in a touching post on Wednesday. He even admitted in his message that he hasn't seen the movie yet. A part of his note read, "YJHD - My second child, a piece of my heart and soul - 10 years old today! I think after all these years, I can confidently say that…Making this movie was one of the greatest joys of my life! And what we achieved with it - with all its perfections and imperfections - is a source of great eternal pride for me! Strangely, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani fully from beginning to end, since the day it released …(Always pushing towards the next milestone, and not looking back enough…!) But when I’m older and wiser - I think I will watch the movie atleast once a year - because a big part of who I was and how I looked at life - is forever captured in this movie ! In the recent months, I have often had people recognise me and come up to me… and I’m thinking they will say something about Brahmāstra, and then they started talking about YJHD!"
