Ananya Panday to Sahil Salathia: Bollywood actors who made India proud on a global stage

The Hindi film industry is growing on a global scale, making an indelible mark across the world. It came into light last year when SS Rajamouli’s RRR took over the globe by storm, even winning an Oscar amongst many other international awards. But not just through movies, but many Bollywood actors are also creating a mark of their own internationally. Here are some such actors who made India proud globally.

Sonam Kapoor

A true fashionista, Sonam Kapoor has spread her stylish wings not just in India but away from the country too. The actress has made multiple appearances at the Cannes Film Festival, attended the India Global Forum event in London and became the only Indian to be invited at King Charles’ Coronation Concert.

Ali Fazal

Ali Fazal has been maintaining a perfect balance of working in Indian and international films. Having worked in Furious 7 in the Fast and Furious franchise, he attended the premiere of Fast X in Rome last year. There he reunited with Hollywood star Vin Diesel.

Ananya Panday

The young starlet Ananya Panday awed everyone as she made her Paris Fashion Week debut earlier this year. The actress wowed the audience with her confidence and aura, bringing glory for India on one of the biggest fashion stages in the world.

Sahil Salathia

A fashion icon in the truest sense, Sahil Salathia has been paving a new way for men’s fashion in India. Recognising that, the actor was invited to attend the New York Fashion Week earlier this year in February. The following month, he also graced the red carpet at the pre-Oscar event in LA celebrating South Asian excellence in international cinema.

Sobhita Dhulipala

Sobhita Dhulipala started her career by representing India on a global platform in beauty pageants. Now, she has been taking that even higher as recently she appeared at the red-carpet premiere of her latest international film, Monkey Man with Dev Patel, in Los Angeles.
