Several AAP members, office-bearers join BJP in presence of BJP leader Virendra Sachdeva
New Delhi [India]: Several founding members and office-bearers of Aam Aadmi Party joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and State General Secretary Harsh Malhotra on Wednesday.
Welcoming all "AAP" workers to the BJP, Sachdeva said that all the members who have decided to join the BJP today had once established the party by fighting with Arvind Kejriwal and on whose one phone call Arvind Kejriwal picked up the phone but today they all are feeling cheated by Kejriwal's corruption.
He said that Kejriwal had betrayed all those who had left central government jobs and their families and joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Sachdeva said that all the objectives with which Arvind Kejriwal was associated had been lost and the corrupt masks of Kejriwal and his government were being exposed one by one.
The BJP leader said that all the members who have decided to join the BJP today are impressed by the schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his efficient leadership.
Udham Singh Tomar and Sudhir Phogat, who left AAP and joined BJP, said that Kejriwal has made AAP the Gangotri of corruption and today AAP workers, especially the youth, are frustrated and gradually they are getting disillusioned with Kejriwal. Hundreds of young workers are leaving AAP and joining BJP.
Those who joined the BJP today include Yashpal Sharma, Dinesh Sharma, Amit Talwar, Mandeep Kataria, Jeet Singh Chauhan, Piyush Kashyap, Ramniwas Mathur, Hem Singh, Gajendra Singh and others. (ANI)
