Angry netizens troll Alia Bhatt for copying Deepika Padukone's airport style

Alia Bhatt, a Bollywood starlet who just accepted the position of global ambassador for Gucci, left for Seoul on Sunday to attend the debut of the brand's 2024 cruise collection. When cameras caught her at the Mumbai airport, the actress was dressed to impress in denim. However, a lot of online users thought Alia Bhatt plagiarised Deepika Padukone's style because of her airport OOTD because of DP's stunning denim appearances. Some of the trolls began questioning the actress why she had started imitating Padukone.   

Alia might be seen walking into the airport in a video posted on a well-known paparazzi's Instagram account. She wore a white crop top, an enormous denim jacket, and denim trousers, and she looked stunning. The actress chose a simple makeup look and wore her hair in a neat hairstyle. Bhatt also paused for a little while to grin and pose for the photographers. Netizens said she was copying Deepika as soon as her video appeared online. One Insta user commented, “Is she trying to copy Deepika Padukone style.” Another wrote, “Why do I feel every time she tries to copy DP??” One of the comments can be read, “Started copying Deepika.” One troll said, “Ye Deepika Padukone banna chahti hai.”

It's interesting to note that while Alia is being criticized for emulating DP, the actress just received criticism for posting her Oscars photos online hours before Alia made her Met Gala entrance. On social media, Bhatt supporters labeled Deepika 'insecure' and made fun of her. But the Padmaavat actress put the haters to rest by supporting Alia during her Met Gala debut in 2023.
